Ingredients:
- 500g fresh Newcastle prawns, peeled & deveined
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4–5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- A pinch of chili flakes (optional)
- Sea salt & cracked black pepper
Method:
- Heat the pan – Melt butter with olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic – Sauté gently until fragrant and golden.
- Cook prawns – Add prawns, season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and just cooked through.
- Serve hot – With crusty bread, steamed rice, or pasta to soak up the garlic butter sauce.
